Usyk and Fury’s Recent Bouts: How the Rivals Have Fared Since Their Rematch

Following their two head-to-head clashes, Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury continued their careers independently. This marked the Briton's first victory following two consecutive losses. Fury's next opponent was Mariusz Wach. The bout took place on July 24, 2026, in Pattaya, Thailand. While the fight did not carry the same magnitude as Fury's clashes with top-tier heavyweights, it allowed the Briton to stay active just months after his comeback. Fury controlled the fight from the outset, relying primarily on his jab while varying his stance and distance. After seven rounds, Wach's team decided not to continue the fight, and Fury was awarded a victory by technical knockout. Following this, his professional record stood at 36 wins, two losses, and one draw, including 25 victories inside the distance.Thus, the recent results for the two boxers are as follows: Usyk stopped Verhoeven in the 11th round in May 2026, having previously knocked out Dubois in the fifth round in July 2025. Fury went the full distance against Makhmudov in April 2026 and stopped Wach after the seventh round in July.
